    BBO Project Manager

    Fixed Term Contract Until October 2019

    Full time, based in Dudley

    Salary: £25,000

    We are currently recruiting for a BBO Project Manager on a fixed term contract until October 2019.

    Our mission is to empower those we support to set their own goals and vision, realise their full potential and live free from discrimination, equipped with the confidence and skills to contribute to the communities in which they live.

    Summit House Support (SHS) has been supporting people in Dudley and Sandwell since 1992.  Working with a number of diverse communities we support people in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, people living with HIV and the LGBTQIA communities.  Those we support suffer multiple disadvantages, many come from the most deprived communities and often face discrimination and social exclusion in their day to day lives.  Out of our building in the heart of Dudley, Summit has an excellent reputation for delivering customer focused interventions.

    SHS has over 700 registered customers. During 2015/2016 SHS delivered 1345 individual interventions; whilst an average of 40 people per month attended our peer support drop-in.

    Building Better Opportunities (BBO) is an exciting new multi-million pound programme tackling poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England. It is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund.

    Summit Support has been selected as a delivery partner by both Steps to Work and Heart of England Community Foundation to work with communities across Dudley and Sandwell.

    The BBO Project Manager will motivate and inspire the project team to deliver high quality interventions with complex, vulnerable adults. The post holder will have strong leadership and administration skills, an understanding of the issues faced by our client group and exceptional attention to detail. Experience of working on a ESF project or similar would be an advantage.
