Harbour Recovery Project

About Dudley Recovery

Recovery is a progression service for those in recovery from substance addiction or problematic use of substances, and for those who have been significantly affected by another’s addiction, substance use or recovery in the Dudley Borough.

We aim to support people in their continuing recovery journey and those who have been affected, to maintain stability and freedom from addictive behaviour by providing a range of services and activities to develop or rebuild the confidence and other skills needed to lead a fuller life and engage in meaningful activities, in an environment which is supportive of stability and growth and which is free from destabilising influences.

How Dudley Recovery Works

Recovery recognises that our lives are made up of many different components and that addiction or reasons for problematic substance use, may often be the result of issues or difficulties in one or several other areas of our lives which have been unsatisfactory or destabilising.

Recovery takes a holistic view of every individual and will assess and offer support to deal with some of these issues either with support from skilled workers or by referral to one of our specialist partner agencies.

What can Recovery Offer?

Recovery offers a comprehensive programme of groups and other activities throughout the week from Monday to Sunday. These activities are varied and have differing aims – some to improve physical or emotional health, some to develop skills and confidence, others are more social and offer social connections and peer support.

Ask one of our service delivery staff for a copy of our current timetable.

We also offer a supportive volunteering programme.
